10/06/2014: PHB sold!

News Flash!!!

Effective immediately the Peabody Heights Brewery has been sold to a local investor. This transaction also impacts Baltimore Washington Beer Works aka RavenBeer in that we have given up our equity stake in PHB. However, the new owners recognize the importance of RavenBeer to their success and have offered us generous terms to continue brewing there. The terms will help us to increase production for our exisiting beers and allow us to introduce our Belgian style Wit beer (Annabel Lee) within the next couple of months. Additionally, there will be an area set-aside in the brewery for us to host our own tastings. Keep an eye on our website and social media for more exciting news.

B.W.B.W. owner Stephen Demczuk had this to say. " We are excited about the opportunity provided by the New PHB. We will have more production capability, and dedicated areas of the brewery for RavenBeer. We hope to set aside areas where our customers can visit at the brewery. This will allow us to implement innovative plans that we have been developing."
